We haven’t posted in a minute here, but we’ve been still creating murals, uplifting community stories, trying new techniques and building relationships!

Over the past year, CRP had the honor of completing two powerful murals:

“Flor del Barrio” in San Jose’s Washington-Guadalupe neighborhood, celebrating generations of Mexican-American pride.

“Legacy” in Oakland’s Chinatown, created in collaboration with legendary artist Flo Oy Wong

Both projects were rooted in deep community engagement, cultural storytelling, and shared authorship. These walls carry the voices of elders, the vision of youth, and the beauty of neighborhoods that continue to resist erasure.

This semester, we’re back at it at Fremont High School, focused in building sustainable and thoughtful arts programs for students in day time classes with We couldn’t have gotten this far without the support of the California Arts Council.

🏙️🎉 A new chapter begins in Seattle as we partner with SCIDpda and Community Roots Housing for the 13th & Fir Family Housing project!

🏠🌿 We are honored to contribute to this 6-story mixed-use housing development, adding 156 low-income family-sized apartments, community-based commercial spaces, and a childcare center. The collaboration with 206 Zulu will bring captivating multiple murals to life, fostering a vibrant sense of community through art. CRP is lucky to be collaborating with artists Pancho Pescador, Stephen Smith, Brandon Gabriel and Desi Mundo.

Other walls will be have art by muralists Damien Mitchell and Rough Edge Collective 🎨🤝 Stay tuned as this inspiring project unfolds! ✨
