The road to New Orleans is paved with intentionality. ✈️🛠️

We are currently mapping the central narrative for our New Orleans presentations. Our through-line is clear: we build a community foundation that the rest of the field skips.

For the 10th National NACRJ Conference this July, we’ve already raised $18,000 toward our $50k goal. We are $32,000 away from the finish line—is your employer match the piece that gets us there?

1 in 10 donors can double their impact through corporate matching. Check if Google, Salesforce, or Kaiser will match your belief in justice 1:1.

We almost missed it!

📢 As Second Chance Month comes to a close, we realized we almost missed the chance to give our advocates a second chance to support our NACRJ Delegation.

April advocates for second chances for the 70–100 million Americans with a criminal record. We are honoring that legacy by taking our work to the national stage in New Orleans this July.

We need your help to raise the remaining $32,000!

Your support sends leaders like Adrienne, Lucia, Dee, and Kevin to present our pillars of Human Design and Youth Policy Impact.

Our session, "Redefining Safety: From Spreadsheets to Community Value," challenges the disinformation that justifies punitive spending and instead centers human dignity. Reports show crime was falling long before the system pivoted back to punishment—it’s time the funding follows the facts.

The news can get you loving the enemy and hating the people you have more in common with. Tap in how you can." — Kat Sayally 🗣️✨

This month, we’re focusing on the power of community fellowship. We sat down with Kat Sayally to talk about why relationship-building is the heart of our mandate. Whether it’s through our "Make It Right" program or "Survivor Empowerment" circles, we are proof that healing happens when we stop leaning on punitive cycles of harm.

Kat also gives us an update on our legislative work in Sacramento, including the push for AB 1922 to ensure human dignity in medical care.
