In the past week, we’ve heard the horrific news of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo and Johan Sebastian Guerrero, two newcomer Americans killed by ICE on their way to work.
We cannot allow this state violence to be normalized. And we cannot separate the violence terrorizing our immigrant neighbors from the broader, coordinated assault on our democracy.
From ICE detention camps to state legislatures pushing Jim Crow-era voter suppression, the goal is to silence Black, Brown, and immigrant communities so MAGA can line their pockets at working people’s expense.
Seed the Vote is part of a national coalition that’s fighting back to say HELL NO. This Friday through Sunday (July 17-19), we are joining thousands across the country for the 6th annual “Good Trouble Lives On” Weekend of Action, honoring the legacy of Congressman John Lewis. With over 600 events nationwide, we are marching, teaching, and organizing under one banner.
🚨Head to goodtroubleliveson.org to find an event near you.
Speak out for Lorenzo, Johan, and everyone impacted by this racist, fascist regime.
