An influential and beloved leader, Bobbie Nelson has left an indelible mark on the Women’s Council of REALTORS®.

She joined WCR in 1997 and immediately got involved, becoming the Santa Cruz Chapter president in 2001, the California Chapter president in 2007 and national president in 2012.

All along the way, Bobbie consistently brought energy, vision, passion for the members and a whole lot of fun to everything she did. When it came to her Women’s Council family, Bobbie was never too tired, never lacked for ideas, never believed it couldn’t be done. Year in, year out, she gave her best, all day, every day.

As we wish our beloved friend and colleague Godspeed, we also want to express gratitude to Bobbie’s family for sharing her with us.

Please join us in celebrating the life of a colleague who gave so much of herself to benefit the Council and our industry.

We mourn the loss of two great women leaders in our Real Estate community. Anita Thede, President of The Berkeley Association of REALTORS® and Bobbie Nelson, 2012 National President of Women's Council. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families, they will be sorely missed.
