Youth Startup Lab Youth Startup Lab is an after-school youth program connecting young people of color to entrepreneurs We design food businesses with young people.

They become leaders of impact in our community. The future is bright. Youth Startup Lab is an after-school experiential food entrepreneurship learning program delivered in youth centers. Cohorts of 5-10 youth of color aged 12-15 amplify their entrepreneurial mindset by designing a food business with their peers. At the end of the 10-week program the team presents their product to the local communi

ty. Youth Startup Lab is delivered presently by Civil Labs Foundation in partnership with East Oakland Youth Development Center (EOYDC).
