Compartimos este mensaje importante del Departamento de Salud Pública del Condado para ayudar a mantener segura a nuestra comunidad.

En el Área de la Bahía se han reportado casos graves de envenenamiento y muertes relacionadas con el consumo de hongos silvestres, incluyendo el peligroso hongo Death Cap. Para prevenir más daños, se ofrecerá una clase GRATUITA sobre seguridad de hongos en español.

Esta clase es especialmente importante para personas que recolectan hongos o que puedan encontrarlos en la naturaleza. Después de la clase, El Tímpano creará un video en Mam, que se compartirá junto con la grabación de la clase en la página de seguridad sobre hongos del Condado.

We’re sharing this important message to help keep our community safe.

There have been serious poisonings and deaths in the Bay Area linked to eating wild mushrooms, including the dangerous Death Cap mushroom. To prevent further harm, a FREE mushroom safety class will be offered in Spanish.

This class is especially important for community members who may forage or come across wild mushrooms. After the class, El Tímpano will create a video in Mam, which will be shared along with the class recording on the County’s Mushroom Safety page.
