Due to tour guide scheduling issue, The Rutherford House tour has been cancelled, but will be rescheduled! A lot of big things happening at our meeting including election education and officer elections! We’re handing out our Oakland noodles for fundraiser, talking about our field trip for December and Oakland Christmas market. See you at 5 at the church!

First meeting of our 4-h year will be October 5 at 2 PM. We will be talking about changes coming to our meeting activities, decisions on new time/date for meetings, and a fun painting activity lead by Emma Edwards! (Dress accordingly). Please RSVP so that we can plan for supplies!

August meeting info: pizza and swimming party at our residence on august 24th at 1 PM. Grace and Connor will give an informational bit on swine breeding then kids can swim and eat pizza. This is all weather pending with an indoor location as a back up. Please RSVP to us so that we can have a headcount for pizza. Parents welcome to eat and swim!!!

Project turn in was so fun! Everyone did such a great job! I hope each of our 4-Hers are proud of themselves because we are super proud of our 4-Hers!!! I believe we have 2 state fair entries and 5 state fair alternates!

Just a reminder, meeting Saturday at 1 PM at the Henry farm. We will be discussing all things Cole’s County Fair ‘24, so please make a point to attend.

Do we have a family willing to run the pop stand (concessions) at the fair on Monday July 29 from 11-2:15. You are given all the instructions upon arrival it’s basically just selling snacks during the livestock shows. Everything is prepackaged. Our time is during the swine show so our family is not available to help.

Here is the T-shirt design we’ve picked for the year. Please send updated sizes for your 4-h er or cloverbud. If we don’t receive updated sizes by 7/3 they will not receive a T-shirt. Reminder that July meeting is 7/13 at the Henry farm. See you there!
