Trash Falcons We are a group of volunteers who meet every Sunday at 400 Perkins in Oakland, CA to pick up trash! Join us and we'll provide bags and pickers!

A full house at tonight for the launch of the Trash Falcons Museum of Trash Book! Trash Falcon founders Dana and Richard told the story of the groups founding (along with some TF secrets!) and museum curator Rachel presented some key pieces from the collection with the help of TF Suz! Lake water cocktails were served and a good time was had by all! (We sold out of the first printing of the book but more are available to order at trashfalcons.org)

Today we saw what looked like an ordinary cardboard box floating in the lake… new Trash Falcon Hilary hooked it with the grappling hook and when we pulled it in it turned out to be full of treasures… including this beautiful (maybe haunted?) doll, a music box full of Christmas jewelry, a broken ceramic cheetah and 4 doll sized plastic pick axes… lots of new museum pieces for the !
