An average week at soliDar meeting people where they're at:
* partnered with LCA to deliver food to 20 families
* ⁠partnered with LOC and volunteer S. delivered severals bags of clothing, food, household supplies to 2 Pontiac families
* ⁠Our volunteer, B. delivered a carload of baby gear and clothes to 2 families in Detroit
* ⁠Our volunteer M. delivered baby gear, diapers, clothing, formula, etc. to 7 moms, many of whom have husbands in detention.
* ⁠Our volunteer M. picked up and delivered a queen bed to a family in Detroit.
* ⁠Our volunteers, K. and P. helped H. empty a Ferndale garage and deliver to a family in Detroit.
*Volunteers P. and H. picked up a mattress, table and chairs, and housewares to Detroit.

AMAZING news—thanks to recent changes in the 6th circuit (which overlaps our service area in Kentucky, a state with EXPLODING detention capabilities)—hundreds of people are newly eligible for bond.

We have gotten over $200k in requests just since Monday from folks held in Kentucky from all over the midwest, and anticipate many more coming. While we are THRILLED to be able to bond people out, we also need your help to ensure we can meet the need as it rolls in.
