A great local business relocating! Awesome news for a family owned and operated business right here in our county!!

WE ARE JUMPING FOR JOY! We finally got the keys and will be working diligently on getting moved to 1023 W Broadway (the old Family Dollar location)! We have much work to do to get it move in ready. I want to give a huge shout out to Pamela Partenheimer Mick for all the great legal work and advice as she came to my rescue when I was in tears because I thought I could get through all the legal paperworkon my own 🤦‍♀️...on a Sunday she dropped what she was doing and helped and calmed me tremendously. Thank you Pam and all your staff! Also a big thank you to Dusty Wilhite and her team as I'm sure they have never worked so hard for a commercial insurance policy. Making a huge corporation understand their own insurance language on a lease and requirements on a COI shouldn't be rocket science. Also thank you to my family Derrick and Tara and Tom for listening at my rants about getting this done since the beginning of September. I LOVE YOU ALL NOW ON TO THE MOVE! If you would like to help we welcome any muscle, painters, carpenters and great ideas! Chris MacKay I hope you can still help with floors!!!!

As we’re starting to close in on the primary. Let’s get our voices heard and let’s develop a backbone that has since been lost to be able to make a difference in our wonderful county!! I greatly appreciate each and everyone of y’all’s support and help on this campaign.

One thing we all have to remember is “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much”

With the support of all of our county citizens that believe in having a back bone and actually standing up for ourselves and doing what is right for us Gibson County Taxpayers. I know that we, as a team will bring our County in a whole to where it needs to be to benefit us and our future generation!!

I have been asked several times in the past couple of weeks ….. So incase you had not seen or heard we have officially filed for our candidacy for the District 2 Commissioner! Be sure and spread the word and I will be posting updates as things come together. We are looking to have an event for everyone to get together sometime before the primary. In the past few days. I have been asked numerous times what goals I had in mind for our county. A few things I wanted to touch on.

▪️Zoning - In my opinion, zoning has came and gone. Our residents of the county have made it very clear that they do not want county wide zoning, and that is who I would be working for. You. The taxpayers of Gibson County. I am not for zoning in anyway shape or form.

◾️ First Responders - As Chief of a Fire Department I fully understand the challenges that come. The folks that put their life on the line everyday or the ones saving your life should not have to worry about their equipment. I want our Gibson County first responders to be able to have the funding they need. Whether it be to upgrade equipment, train members, recruit more staffing, and at least be able to earn a fair wage while doing so. This is one thing I am passionate about and I will have each and everyone of your backs.

◾️There is a long list of things I could put to this post and many other concerns I have. I am open to answer any concerns or questions you may have. At the end of the day. I want our communities to be able to grow and prosper. Our youth is the future of this county and I plan to keep things moving and progressing while I have the opportunity to do so.

▪️As I’ve mentioned before. I’m not going to ramble on making you think that I am someone or something that I am not. I’m an honest Gibson County resident that loves everything about it and I want future generations to be able to do the same. Hopefully in an even better environment then we have grown up in.
