I love it when a company walks their talk! We applied for a grant in the form of credit on promotional products from Marcos Promos and we were selected! They call the program "Difference Makers." I was told they receive 1,000s of applications and only give out one each month, so I'm feeling pretty proud right now! While we didn't hit $1M, we spun for $2,000! This will go a long way in our "Teacher's Toolbox" reimbursing teachers in our area for out-of-pocket expenses related to projects in STEM or the arts. Thank you Chukchansi and thank you to all those good wishes you sent our way!

It's always an honor for us to present a scholarship to a graduating senior at Minarets High School. Minarets has helped Be the Power of One several times over the years - by hosting fundraisers and by producing videos. Their media department came out to the Yosemite Peace Symposium to capture video and create a promotional piece. Congratulations to graduating seniors throughout the area. So proud to be a part of the Central California Women's Conference Community Celebration. I had no idea what all this organization does for the community, donating over $100,000 this year to non-profits that support women and children in the Central Valley. Be the Power of One received a grant in the amount of $500 to get our "Teacher's Toolbox" program off the ground. Look for more information on our new initiative later.
