Have any electronics you need to recycle? Help our Ocean Twp friend with his Eagle Scout project! Pretty much anything with a plug, old coffee, makers, blenders, toasters, computers, printers, chargers, etc.

The next town council meeting is this Thursday, Oct 14, 7pm. We need to keep encouraging the mayor to follow through on his promise to pursue non lethal sterilization. So far he has not reapplied to Fish & Wildlife with their proposal. He continues to ensure us there will not be a hunt but he is not moving forward yet. Please come to the meeting if you can and speak out.

We had reserved a billboard many months ago and since the mayor is pushing for non lethal, APLNJ decided on a positive message! This is at the corner of Rt 35 and West Park Ave.
There is a town council meeting tonight. I will let you all know if there are any new updates.

We don't have much to update at this time. Sadly as most of you have probably seen, the 32 Acres area has been leveled. It's so sad to think of all the animals who lived there. We will continue to fight for the deer though. The plan is still for the town to pursue non lethal sterilization. We will update here as soon as we hear any news from the mayor's office as to the status. The plans could honestly take months so we don't expect to hear anything soon. Stay tuned!

Can you make a quick phone call? We need calls made to the mayor's office telling them you are against a deer hunt! You most likely will not even talk to the mayor. Just a quick call and say "I want to leave a message for the mayor. I am a resident of Ocean Twp and I am strongly opposed to a deer hunt." That's it! Super quick and easy.
If you're feeling comfortable and want to say more, you can add "I am urging the mayor to push back on the state and demand they allow for non lethal sterilization".
