**Friendly reminder** TRAILS ARE CLOSED

🚨 TRAIL UPDATE – 02/26/2026 🚨
ALL TRAILS WILL REMAIN CLOSED
We wish this wasn’t the case, but at this time we simply do not have the snow to safely open the trails.
Additionally, we have received several complaints from property owners in the Darien/Alexander areas this evening. Please respect our landowners — without their cooperation, we do not have trails.

Trail Update – 02/24/2026

As of now, all trails remain CLOSED.

We will be closely monitoring conditions over the next 24–48 hours. While the south portion has received some snow, there are still significant water holes, flooded sections, and trails that are not frozen. In addition, there are bare winter wheat fields that must be protected.

Please stay off the trails and respect our landowners. Riding now will cause damage and could jeopardize future access.

We’ll provide updates as conditions change.

02/15/26 – TRAIL CLOSURE NOTICE

All Genesee SnoPackers trails will CLOSE at midnight tonight.

WOW — what a run! 24 consecutive days of trails open.

We want to sincerely thank everyone involved: our Trail Bosses, groomer operators, and of course our property owners. This would not be possible without your time, effort, and continued support.

Once the trails are CLOSED, please stay off them. This is critical to protecting landowner relationships and ensuring future access.

With any luck, we are far from done this season.

We’ve been busy!

Groomers were out last night and again today — photo taken at My Saloon last night.

All of our trail system has been groomed, including the State Park this morning. Huge thank-you to our dedicated groomers for putting in the time and effort all night and morning.

Please take it easy on the trails during this warm-up. Riding smart now helps us keep the trails open longer.

We have no plans to close unless we’re forced to for safety reasons .

🚨 IMPORTANT TRAIL NOTICE 🚨
Please stay on the marked snowmobile trails. We have received multiple complaints of riders leaving the trail in search of fresh snow.

Riding off the marked trail—especially on ATV trails and private property—causes damage and puts our trail access at risk. The photos shown are from one of several locations, where riders were observed riding on an ATV trail instead of the designated snowmobile trail off Norton Rd.

❗ Do not ruin this for everyone.

👉 Stay on the marked snowmobile trail only
👉 Respect landowners and trail agreements

Failure to follow these rules can lead to trail closures.

UPDATE 02/10/2026 Please read.
With the fluctuating temperatures heading into the weekend — and even warmer weather next week — please be aware that trail conditions will be changing quickly.

Expect:
• Soft areas during the day
• Icy spots as temperatures drop and trails refreeze
• Possible thinning base in open or sun-exposed sections

Use extra caution, reduce your speed, and stay alert for unexpected conditions. What looks good in the afternoon may be solid ice by evening.

We are seeing several riders leaving the marked trail to look for fresh snow.
Please stop.

Riding off trail damages landowner property and puts our trail system at risk. It only takes a few people to ruin it for everyone.

Stay on the marked trail. Respect the land. Protect our riding privileges.
