Dickey County Senior Center The Oakes Senior Center provides meals for those 60 years of age or older; including eat-in, home delivery, frozen, and takeout. The coffee bar is always open.

The Oakes Senior Center is owned and operated by Dickey County Senior Citizens, a nonprofit organization that was formed and incorporated in 1975 and provided 501(c)(3) status in 1977. The center also hosts many other activities such as bingo, bone builders, guest speakers and presenters, games and crafts, just to name a few. We even have a Brew Crew that meets every other Wednesday afternoon. If

you like to read, there is a free library with many books to choose from, and a comfy couch and fireplace to sit by. We have a large gathering table that always has a new puzzle on it to be put together. Best of all, there is always conversation to be had and memories to be made. Come for the food and stay for the fun!
