We support the homeless animals from Oakdale and Riverbank. OPEN: Tues-Saturday 9AM-5PM The ASTRO Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization formed in 2012, dedicated to rescuing homeless dogs and cats in the Oakdale, Riverbank and Escalon areas. 🌟 Shop Volunteers Wanted! 🌟

Do you have a few hours a week to give back to your community? Our nonprofit thrift and gift shop is looking for friendly, outgoing, and dependable volunteers to join our amazing team!

We’re asking for a commitment of at least one day per week for a couple of hours, but if you’d like to volunteer more, we’d love to have you!

Volunteer opportunities include:
✨ Assisting customers and providing excellent customer service
✨ Pricing and organizing merchandise
✨ Creating attractive displays
✨ Helping sort donations
✨ Transporting donations to hospice
✨ Assisting with shop landscaping and outdoor upkeep
✨ Watering and caring for plants
✨ General shop support wherever needed

This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, serve your community, gain valuable work experience, build your resume, and learn new skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Whether you’re looking to stay active, give back, gain job experience, or simply make a difference, we’d love to have you on our team!

No experience is necessary—we are happy to train the right volunteers. All we ask is that you bring a positive attitude, a willingness to help, and a commitment to making a difference in our community.
