Oakdale Scouts were honored to participate in the Wreaths Across America ceremony and proudly lead the Pledge of Allegiance.

It is a powerful and moving event, and we are grateful to be included each year as we come together to remember, honor, and teach.

All Oakdale Scouting units came together to remember, honor, and teach as we were honored to participate in the Wreaths Across America ceremony again this year.

It was a powerful reminder of the importance of service, gratitude, and passing these values on to the next generation.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our community and represent Scouting with pride.

Presenting the first wreaths, placed around the flagpole at the cemetery, were members representing each branch of service as well as local emergency responders, Gold Star and Blue Star families.

🎶 Friday afternoon, Scouts from Oakdale Scouting units will be warming up their best singing voices and heading out to share some holiday cheer with local elderly residents at several care facilities.

🎤 This is a tradition we look forward to every year—bringing smiles, music, and a little extra joy to our community during the holiday season. ❤️

Only 4 days away! 🇺🇸

This Saturday at 9:00 AM, our Oakdale Scouting units will come together for the Wreaths Across America ceremony at Oakdale Citizens Cemetery.

Our Scouts are honored to help remember and pay tribute to the 900+ veterans laid to rest in our community. After the ceremony, they’ll help place wreaths on each grave — a powerful tradition of respect and gratitude.

This is a public event, and everyone is welcome.
Come stand with us as we remember, honor, and teach.

Only 13 days away! 🇺🇸

Join our local Scouting units on Saturday, December 13th at 9:00 AM for the Wreaths Across America ceremony at Oakdale Citizens Cemetery.

Our Scouts are honored to take part in this meaningful event.

Following the ceremony, they will help place wreaths on the graves of more than 800 veterans laid to rest at the cemetery.

This is a public event, and all are welcome to attend as we remember, honor, and teach the importance of service and sacrifice within our community.

After teaming up for Scouting for Food and flag placement, all of Oakdale’s scouting units were back together again — proudly walking side by side in the Veterans Day Parade. 🇺🇸

🥫 That means Scouting for Food 2025 is officially a wrap!

👏🏼Thanks to the incredible generosity of our Oakdale community, we didn’t just meet our goal—we surpassed it!

❤️We’re deeply grateful for our ongoing partnership with Oakdale Community Sharing Christian Center and especially Frank Ortiz, whose servant heart and dedication ensure that no one in Oakdale goes hungry.

⚜️Together, we proved once again that Scouting and community go hand in hand.

🛒 Each year, our Scouts look forward to Scouting for Food — our biggest and most impactful service project of the year.

Not only are we grateful for the chance to serve our community and help others in need, but we also cherish the opportunity to team up with our fellow Oakdale Scouting units to accomplish this mission together.

🥫Scouting for Food truly embodies the very best of Scouting — and so does this incredible Oakdale community.

Even in challenging times, when the economy is uncertain and needs are great, Oakdale continues to GIVE — your time, your energy, your food, and most importantly, your heart. ❤️

🇺🇸 Flag Placement at Oakdale Citizens Cemetery-TODAY

Today, starting at 1:30pm, Oakdale Scouts will join together to place over 800 American flags on the graves of veterans resting at Oakdale Citizens Cemetery.

This meaningful tradition honors the brave men and women who served our country — a simple act of remembrance with a powerful impact. ❤️

Open to the community — everyone is welcome to help!
Let’s come together to show gratitude, respect, and Scout spirit as we honor our hometown heroes.

📣 A Huge Thank You to Save Mart Oakdale! 🛒

On behalf of all our local Scouting units, we want to share our heartfelt gratitude to Save Mart in Oakdale — and especially to Robert, the store manager — for their incredible support of our Scouting for Food drive! 👏🏼

Not only did Save Mart welcome two food donation bins inside the store, but they also graciously agreed to keep them out through Christmas. That means even more local families will receive the help they need this holiday season. 🎄

❤️ It truly takes a village, and we’re so proud to be part of the Oakdale community that continues to give so generously.
