Brady's Brigade Special Needs Support Group for Kids 2.0 Our website is a globally accessible resource and communications hub for all things related to the special needs/disabled communities.

This group is open to forming connections worldwide and is inclusive to its core. Bringing smiles since 2016. Our website is our globally accessible resource and communications hub for all things related to the special needs and disabled communities. Here on our page, we offer news and general information both regarding this page and about the community. Everyone is welcome to this page!

This group hosts all events at the Montville Community Center. There is plenty of parking. Brady was a 9-year-old, high-functioning autistic child. As of August 2025, Brady is now a 18-year-old boy! He decided the summer of 2016 to unite fellow autistic children. He wanted a comfortable setting to talk with his peers and work on social skills. Ultimately, his vision is to create an environment providing opportunities for the special needs community to help each other and grow together. In honor of Brady's vision, we started a social skills playgroup/support for all in the special needs community, no matter the age. As we aim to truly be inclusive and have a place for all in the community to come. This group is shaped by the input of the parents/guardians as well as the members. We meet once a month, but we are open to your thoughts and suggestions. There is also a direct url at the bottom of this section. Here's a little history about Brady, so everyone can get a sense of who he is, why this group is so important to him, and what sparked his idea to start a group in the first place. Brady was brought to the Developmental Pediatrician at 19 months as he was not meeting any milestones, and his pediatrician was worried. Brady didn't talk, walk, make eye contact, or respond to his name. He didn't like anyone to touch him, and his daily activities had to follow the same routine. There was also a low muscle tone, and the list went on...
He started aggressive therapy with OT, speech, and PT 5 days a week. Brady has since dropped some of the therapies and started some back up over the years. One therapy has always been consistent for him, ABA therapy. He has had ABA since he was 3 years of age. He is 18 years old now and it's amazing to see how far he has come! Brady enjoys soccer, music, art projects, and other activities with his family and peers. He has a passion for learning about the world around him and is constantly reading. Brady wants this group to be an area for all in the community to have fun learning while enjoying the company of others! Brady's vision is to empower others around the world.
