We are also very active in our community. The East Valley Paranormal Society
Kim & Rodney Mann founded the East Valley Paranormal Society (E.V.P.S.) The group was formed in the hope and desire of finding answers to some of world’s most ancient questions. Prior to forming EVPS, in 2005 Kim and Rodney had spent some time with another local group learning many things, but that just wasn’t enough for
them…that is when E.V.P.S. became more than a dream, it became a reality. Later in the year they started recruiting new members into E.V.P.S. By the end of 2006, their little group had grown to over 11 members. Shortly after the beginning of 2007 E.V.P.S had another growth spurt and had grown to 18 members. Over the years members have come and gone. Only one of the original members has remained, Cyndi Ranes. Currently our members are: Kim & Rodney Mann (Founders/Directors) and Cyndi Ranes (Research Mgr. & Secretary/Archivist). In 2015 Kim & Rodney left Arizona and moved to Tennessee to start a new chapter in their life. As of 2017 they decided they had taken enough time off and decided it was time to get another team together and began actively looking for new members. Since the founding of E.V.P.S., they have had monthly meetings and monthly group outings. These group outings can range from old abandoned cemeteries, to locally known (or thought to be) haunted places. The journeys have taken them to paranormal hot spots such as: Vulture Mine, Tombstone, Gila County Jail, 2nd Pinal County Courthouse, several places in Coolidge, AZ, Florence, AZ and Jerome, AZ just to name a few of the places they have investigated. They do receive numerous distress calls from home & business owners who believe they may have a haunting and need help to understand what is happening to them. Their services are free of charge. EVPS will go to the home or business and do a basic interview and get all the information of the events that have transpired and for how long. They will also take a tour of the home or business. If EVPS determines it is a worthy cause, they will set up a date to come in and do a full-blown investigation. EVPS owns a wide array of Infrared cameras, DVR recorder, several digital cameras, audio recorders, and EMF meters. A typical investigation runs about 4 to 7 hours. After the investigation it takes about a week or two to go over all the evidence collected. Homeowners and business owners get a complete copy of everything recorded and all photos taken. Clients will also receive a complete written report of the findings from the investigation. Again, this is all done free of charge. E.V.P.S. also does Public Service projects such as helping with historical tours, clean up projects of old buildings and cemeteries. Since 2007 EVPS also had held yearly Library Programs teaching the public about ghost hunting and what EVPS does when they go out to investigate. They also show off some great evidence they have captured throughout the years. Coming in soon more classes will be held as well as a new venture. The Children’s Paranormal Network is still a dream of ours on the internet as a safe haven for kids to go seeking answers and help for things they may be experiencing. Some other things that EVPS is hoping to do with CPN, is hold classes and camps for kids and their families. Keep checking the EVPS website for updates. We will be rebuilding our website soon as well. Keep your eyes out for that. If you’d like more information or have further questions, please contact EVPS at: [email protected]
We are always there to help! You can also find a link there to request an investigation too if you think you may be haunted.
