with all the graduation buzz lately I was reminded that we graduated 10 years ago now.

let me say that again: TEN YEARS AGO. It seems like its been only a few year but also a lifetime.

Senior year, Mr. Quaccia’s class, a 50 point essay was due and one of the students straight up jumped out the window when he realized it was due that day and he didn’t have it. 😂😂

Because there has been almost 5 years since we have graduated, perhaps you will find this article to be special. Many of us have had new friendships and others have faded as our lives went on. Wether your best friend is a guy or girl, this is written well and both can get something out of it.

As I keep seeing posts from many of you that I graduated with, and so many of us have changed and grown. (Some have not, but hopefully sooner rather than later you do😜) Many are getting ready to graduate from college and some have already got their degrees, while others are still actively pursuing theirs (I personally will be graduating next year with my BA because I've been doing an internship while being a full time student as well).
Others of you have got married, joined the military (that of which I thank you for your service!) And some have become parents (this is huge and I congratulate you for being some awesome parents and filling up my Instagram and Facebook with such beautiful faces and helping take away from so much of the negativity that so clogs this world.) Also, there are those who are working and doing their trade or still unsure of where they are going or doing for the rest if your life, that's cool too.

I applaud each of you that are doing what they can to be a better them and doing such good in the world. Never underestimate the power that you have in the smile and encouragement you bring. I know I've lost contact with so many of you, even if we are still friends on here and then there are those that were once so close through elementary and Jr high as well as high school but you don't talk much now. I challenge you to reach out to them and talk. No argument or awkwardness is worth not saying what is on your heart. As we have lost a few of the ones we went to high school with, we should be reminded tomorrow is not promised.

So sad to hear of the recent death of one of our classmates Blake Berry. Praying for his family and friends. I didn't personally knoe him well, but from what I've read and seen, I can see that he was a great guy. I'm sorry for those of you that are hurting from this tragic incident, if you'd like, share on here stories or comment memories of Blake to share with others. Let's celebrate his life and legacy he left behind.
