🥎 Help Bring Girls Softball Back to the Ojai Valley!

Since the closure of OVGSA, we’ve heard from many families who want to see girls softball return to our community. OVBL is exploring how we can help bring the program back by connecting families, volunteers, and community support.
If there’s enough interest, we hope to see an instructional start-up program as early as this fall while working toward re-establishing a standalone girls softball league in the Ojai Valley.

From the very first pitch, this group took the field with confidence, determination, and a love for the game that was impossible to ignore.

They battled through every inning, picked each other up, played for the name on the front of the jersey, and earned every moment of this championship run. What makes this team special isn’t just the wins—it’s the heart, hustle, sportsmanship, and friendships they’ve built along the way.

Our Ojai Valley 8U All-Stars go to the District Championship game tonight!

At 5pm they battle Santa Ynez for the title in what promises to be an unforgettable showdown. These boys have played with heart, grit, and determination all tournament long, and now it’s time for one final push.

🏆 DISTRICT FINALISTS! 🏆

What an incredible run by our Ojai Shetland 6U All-Star team!

Watching this group compete, grow, and dominate on the field throughout the District Tournament has been something special. These young ballplayers represented Ojai Valley Baseball with heart, hustle, sportsmanship, and a level of teamwork far beyond their years. Making it all the way to the District Championship game is an accomplishment they should be extremely proud of.

This journey isn’t over yet! We can’t wait to see what these boys bring next weekend as they continue their postseason run at Sections. The future is bright for this talented group, and we’re excited to cheer them on every step of the way.

Now it’s time for helmets on, eye black ready, walk-up songs blasting, and summer baseball memories that these kids will never forget. From massive hits and dirt-covered jerseys to dugout celebrations and proud family moments — THIS is what All-Star season is all about. ⭐️
