✨National Youth Confidence Day!✨

National Youth Confidence Day celebrates the creativity, resilience, and unique strengths young people bring to the world. For children who have experienced abuse or neglect, having someone who believes in them and encourages them along the way can make a meaningful difference.

Every child deserves someone who sees their potential and reminds them that their future is full of possibilities. 💙

✨You don't have to be a lawyer.

✨You don't have to be a social worker.

✨You don't have to know the foster care system.

✨You don't have to have all the answers.

💙You do have to care.

You have to be willing to show up.
To listen.
To learn.
To ask questions.
To speak up when something isn't right.

That's what a CASA volunteer does.

And right now, children in Anderson County are waiting because we don't have enough volunteers to serve them all.
If you've been waiting for the right time to get involved, this is it.
Become the person who shows up for a child when they need an advocate most.

💚 October 10 | World Mental Health Day

“How are you feeling?” can be a powerful question — especially when we take the time to really listen to the answer.

Make space today to check in with the children in your life. Ask questions. Listen. Let them know their feelings matter and that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

For children who have experienced abuse, neglect, or the uncertainty of foster care, having a trusted adult who listens can be especially meaningful.

Start the conversation. You never know how much a simple “I’m here for you” might mean. 💚

And if you’re ready to be that trusted adult for a child who needs someone in their corner, consider becoming a CASA volunteer. Be the voice. Be the advocate. Be there.

October 8 is National Hero Day.

Heroes aren’t always wearing capes. Sometimes, they’re ordinary people who choose to show up, speak up, and make a difference.

CASA volunteers are everyday heroes. They stand beside children in foster care, listen to their voices, advocate for their needs, and help ensure their best interests are never forgotten.

You don’t have to be extraordinary to be a hero.
You just have to be willing to make a difference.

💙 BE A HERO. BECOME A CASA VOLUNTEER.

🚨Anderson County we need you! 🚨

CASA of the Tennessee Heartland is critically low on volunteers in Anderson County, and children are waiting for someone to stand up for them.

When a child enters the court system because of abuse or neglect, they may have many adults involved in their life. But they need someone whose job is to know them

A CASA volunteer listens, learns about the child's needs, visits with them, gathers information, and makes sure their voice and best interests are heard in court.

Right now, we don't have enough volunteers to serve every child who needs a CASA.

You don't have to be a lawyer. You don't have to be a social worker. You don't have to have all the answers. You just have to be willing to show up, listen, learn, and speak up.

If you've ever thought about becoming a CASA volunteer, this is the time💙.

Anderson County, we need you!
