What a day… it rained on the course but not on the spirit of what this tournament is all about. Thank you too each and every one of you that played today, the weather was not ideal but you made the most of the day and all but 1 team turned in score cards. Not sure exactly what we made today but know it was successful. Your investment in this tournament will see kids continue to receive scholarships for many years to come. Thank you Thrivent Jeremy Cox and Evans-Ailey Construction for your continued support. Main Street Baptist Church thank you for a great lunch and Coker Rental Company, Ace Hardware Clinton, and The Home Depot thank you for providing wonderful prizes. Also the had so many tee box sponsors that I can’t list them all here but many of you have supported us every year, thank you for investing in the lives of these students. Michael Callender & Centennial Golf Course you always come through….even in the Rain. Thank you for helping us put on another successful event. Lastly thank you to The Education Foundation & Anderson County Chamber of Commerce for pushing us to start this tournament 3 years ago. Never in our wildest dreams did we believe it would have been as successful was it has been. Joe Forgety‘s legacy will continue to live on and for that we say Thank you….Dad would be so proud!

What a blessing it was to honor Joe Forgety by presenting 2 scholarships tonight. To every golfer, tbox sponsor, company donors , friends and family, we say thank you. You all had a part in blessing these students tonight.

Although it is bittersweet, it is a testament to the goodness of God! Anderson County is an awesome community.

Congratulations to Lexie Ledbetter, winner of the 2022 Joe Forgety Memorial Scholarship. Lexie is entering Roane State this fall and plans to become a history teacher.
