Gov. Whitmer and I on Oct. 20, 2022, in Trenton. I was sorry she didn’t attend the Michigan Democrats Soring Convention on Feb. 23, 2025, in the RenCen.

I had my picture taken with Gov. Whitmer on Oct. 1. Her timely lawsuit has helped keep a 1931 law prohibiting abortion from taking effect in Michigan. The repressive law will go away entirely if voters pass Proposal 3 on the state's midterm election ballot. We can vote absentee until the Nov. 8 election day.
