Sunday, August 14, 2016 was another beautiful day for our annual family picnic. Jesse Reynolds reminded everyone how long this tradition has taken place. Would you believe + 65 years!!!!!
Many of our family have passed away, but we still manage to have about + 100 people or more who attended. Today, we have many more events that use most of our attention, however, we are still Family. In one of my many conversations I had with different folks, I was disappointed too learn that we do not enough conversation about events of death and births among ourselves. Somehow we will meet this challenge and communicate more about each other!
Thanks too all of you who took the time and made the effort to make this EVENT successful and CONTINOUS for all of our families who started this GREAT TRADITION!

First, I want to apologize for the lack of communication to the families and all of our friends. I have been involved with our Mississippi State Travel Club activities for +35 years. The memories are staggering, we have done so much with so many people.
Now is the time for a change in leadership, new and better ideas, better approaches to new challenges, The person who has agreed to take on this very challenging and time consuming position is our own Jesse Reynolds, "I will be in the shadows enjoying the shade and enjoying the view". Due to the lack of time we decided it would be best to cancel the 2016 MSTC Family Reunion. We will return very soon, meanwhile Please remember our Family and Friends picnic on Sunday August 14, 2016 at 2:00 pm in Park Forest, Illinois
at the pavilion in Century Park.

We are starting a new year after a very successful 2015.Thanks to all the family members and friends for making 2015 a good year for MSTC. your participation makes every family gathering a success.
Our next project will be the 2015 Family Reunion in Cincinnati, Ohio in June, 2016. Additional information will be mailed to you very soon.

Our 29th Annual Christmas Party will take place on Saturday 12/05/2015 at the Belvedere Chateau located at 8055 W. 103th St. in Palos Hills, Illinois, This event sells out every year because of all the great features: GREAT FOOD, FREE DRINKS, GREAT MUSIC, GREAT RAFFLE PRIZES, GREAT SALE AND SECURE LOCATION and most of all GREAT PEOPLE. All this for only $55 per person. If you have not been contacted by a ticket seller, please contact me at [email protected]. Remember tickets go fast, Do not wait! We all "Dress to Impress" Last Year, Santa Claus, stopped by at the last moment. Will he return?
