Disability Awareness Project - Detroit is a nonprofit organization focused on helping make the world around us a better, more understanding place. With the help of our tireless staff, we organize awareness and inclusion seminars, fundraisers, community-building events and in-depth disability sensitivity training.
Disability Awareness Project - Detroit has a goal to provide the Metro-Detroit area with valuable information about the disabled community and related issues in order to increase compassion, social acceptance, tolerance and understanding of persons with disabilities through community action and outreach from the classroom to the boardroom with interactive seminars, training sessions, and workshops.
