The dust has settled… the last out’s been called… and the Wild Wild Westside rides off into the sunset.
To every team, every player, every family, and every fan who rode into town—much obliged. You brought the grit, the noise, and a whole lot of hard-nosed baseball to our fields. This wasn’t just a tournament… this was a full-blown frontier showdown.
🏆 Congratulations to our Champions:
* 8U – Briarcliffe Blazers Black
* 9U – Munster Bombers
* 10U – New Lenox Rebels Black
* 11U – Go Pro Harvey
* 13U – Oak Lawn Lightning
You didn’t stumble into it—you earned it the hard way.
But the real story of this weekend… is the people behind the scenes.
A huge, genuine thank you to our volunteers—and honestly, that still doesn’t feel like enough. These are the folks who showed up before the sun, stayed long after it dropped, and never stopped moving in between. Dragging fields, lining chalk, running the concession stand, tracking scores, solving problems before anyone even knew they existed.
No spotlight. No breaks. No credit they’d ever ask for.
Just people who care about this place, this program, and these kids.
This tournament—every pitch, every game, every moment—does not happen without them. Not even close.
Now this ol’ trail boss is just plain tuckered out. Boots worn thin, voice gone, covered in dirt and a weekend’s worth of chaos. Been riding hard from field to field trying to keep this whole town moving.
So I’ll tip the hat… pull it down low… swing up one last time…
…and ride off into the sunset.
Appreciate every last one of ya.
Until the next ride…
