Parents, sometimes our children need more than school. They need a VILLAGE.
And this parent testimony is exactly why Butterflies N Effect exists. 💜
Children are growing academically, socially, emotionally, and personally all at the same time. They are figuring out friendships, confidence, identity, leadership, money, their future—and sometimes simply trying to figure out who they are becoming.
That’s why having another caring adult say, “I see you. I remember what you told me. How are you doing? What are you working toward?” can make such a difference.
As Raina’s mom shared:
“She didn’t see [that she was a leader] until she got with you all.”
And perhaps the most powerful part:
“If I didn’t have you all as part of Raina’s village, she would not be blossoming into this beautiful young woman that I’m seeing before my eyes, because I can’t do it by myself.” 🥹🦋
