Oak Island Beautification Club

Oak Island Beautification Club Currently we plant and maintain 5 public gardens and 2 herb gardens all on our beautiful Oak Island. The club continues to grow and all are welcome.

Monthly meetings held at 801 Ocean Dr ,oak Island. Next to Kokocabana. Meetings held on Fourth Tuesday of the month. Social/refreshments begin at 930AM,followed by program at 10 am, then the business session. Dues $ 10.00

Throughout the year this club hosts speakers on topics related to nature and our environment.The holidays are busy with the Spooktacular,Christmas Parade, Merry Eats and Treats.

During the warm weather months we are active with planning Earth Day activities, Field Trips, plant sales, feeding the birds at the Nature Center, Clearing and freshening the Arboretum,OKI greenhouse, Triangle garden, Recreation Center garden, Veteran’s Park Pollinator garden,Pinners Point garden and much much more .

We're overjoyed to receive The People's Choice Award at the Art In Bloom exhibit at Franklin Square Gallery, a shining testament to the boundless power of community and creativity. Five local garden clubs competed for top honors.
