When Jaclyn was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor, our family entered a world no parent ever wants to know. But while the world saw her fight, there was another battle happening quietly in the background — the one carried by her sister, Taryn. That’s when I learned something profound:
Siblings don’t just support the child with cancer. They pray for NED.
They live for NED. They fight for NED with every breath.
That’s why I call them NEDlings!
They are the invisible warriors of childhood cancer. They carry fear, hope, love, and responsibility far beyond their years. They watch their sibling suffer and still find a way to smile, to protect, to believe.
