Fox Mill Estates Homes Association

Fox Mill Estates Homes Association A residential community in Oak Hill, Virginia. It is bordered by Lawyers Road, Reston Parkway, West Ox Road, Fairfax County Parkway, and Fox Mill Road.

Fox Mill Estates consists of 1,144 single-family colonial, traditional, and contempory homes built between 1972 and 1985 on lots ranging from ¼ acre to ½ acre. Although the site was originally farmland that was cleared for construction, the residents have planted so many trees that in the spring and autumn the gardens in front of the houses blaze with color. The community is located in western Fai

rfax County near the town of Herndon, Virginia and the community of Reston, Virginia. This location provides quick access to the high-technology Dulles corridor and all it offers. View street map of Fox Mill Estates

Fox Mill Estates is strategically positioned for a commute into Washington, DC, have great schools, are conveniently located to many restaurants and shops, and have numerous places of worship. Fox Mill Estates boasts two swim-and-tennis clubs (Fox Mill Swim and Tennis Club & Pinecrest Swim & Tennis Club), several "tot lots," gazebos, a pond, creeks, and great neighbors. It includes 57 acres of common land. The inhabitants of Fox Mill Estates are known to take their civic duties seriously and turnout is high among voters even in off-year elections. Because the neighborhood is so pleasant, with a pond and a creek as well as several groves of trees in the common areas, families trading up from one house to another often choose to stay in Fox Mill. And yes, some residents still see an occasional fox in the woods, as well as woodchuck, rabbits, and even deer.

Stories followed by light refreshments and a craft. We'd love one more volunteer to read a book provided by the hosts.
