🏈 THIS is what being a Rocket is all about. 🚀

After the football game, a group of our Rocket football players and their siblings stepped up to clean up trash around the stadium and field.

It wasn’t their job.
It wasn’t their mess.
There was no recognition or reward waiting for them.

They simply saw something that needed to be done and didn’t hesitate to jump in and get it done.

That may seem like a small thing, but it speaks volumes about the kind of student athletes we are raising. They understand that this is more than just a field where they play. It’s their home on Friday nights. It’s a place built and cared for by our school, families, volunteers, coaches, athletes, and community.

Taking pride in our facilities means taking responsibility for them. And maybe there’s a lesson here for all of us:

If we use it, we should respect it.
If we see a mess, we should help clean it up.
If we call it home, we should take care of it.

Leadership isn’t always about making a big play or standing in the spotlight. Sometimes leadership looks like doing the right thing.

To these Rocket football players.. thank you. We are incredibly proud of you. Thank you for showing what it means to lead by example, take pride in your school, and leave your home field better than you found it.

That’s the Rocket way. 🚀❤️💚

Another busy night at Rocket Stadium, and once again, our amazing volunteers showed up and got it DONE! ❤️💚

🏊‍♀️ A HUGE shoutout to our Swim Team! They absolutely CRUSHED it in the concession stand! And apparently, the old hot chocolate record wasn’t impressive enough… 😂☕️🔥 NEW RECORD! Way to go, swim!

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Thank you to Cross Country for taking care of the 50/50 and helping make another successful night happen!

🍪 Melissa Wright for being our crumbl cookie lady! She picks up our order each week, organizes all of the boxes and makes the cute sign! We appreciate your willingness to jump in and help wherever it’s needed!

🍔 Bo Guerin, Wyatt Wren and Cooper sweet for burger barn prep and crumbl cookie delivery!

👏 And, of course, THANK YOU to our usuals ! Our Game Day Crew, Burger Barn, concession volunteers, gate crew, 50/50 sellers, custodial crew, and everyone who jumps in wherever they’re needed. We truly couldn’t do it without you!

Every ticket sold, concession purchased, 50/50 ticket bought, and volunteer hour makes a difference for our student athletes. We are so grateful for the continued support of our Rocket community!

🚀❤️💚 RIVALRY NIGHT DONE RIGHT! 💚❤️🚀

What a night! Our biggest rivalry game brought out an incredible crowd, and it was so great to see both communities come together to support our football team, cheerleaders, mini cheer , homecoming court and the BEST band around! Great people, great energy, and a hard-fought game made for another memorable Friday night! 🏈🎉

A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the night such a success!

⚽ Our girls soccer team — You absolutely CRUSHED it in the concession stand! From selling an INSANE amount of soft pretzels to keeping the ramen noodles flying, you all worked your tails off. We appreciate you more than you know! 🥨🍜

⛳ Our boys golf team — You did it AGAIN! Another Friday night, another NEW 50/50 RECORD! Thank you for your hard work and for continuing to raise the bar! 🎟️

🍔 Burger Barn — Thank you for always bringing the best burgers in town and keeping our fans fed!

🎟️ Our 50/50 crew — Thank you for giving your time, selling tickets, and helping make every game a success!

🏈 Our game day crew — From setup to cleanup, you keep everything moving and make Friday nights happen!

🥤 Our behind-the-scenes helpers — The ones making sure the food is stocked, the drinks stay cold, and everything is ready to go. So much of what you do happens behind the scenes, but it never goes unnoticed!

🧹 Our custodial crew — A HUGE thank you for all the hard work you put in to keep our facilities clean, welcoming, and ready for our community. Your efforts often go unnoticed, but they make a tremendous difference!

❤️💚 A friendly reminder to everyone: Let’s take pride in our facilities and do our part to keep them looking great. Please pick up after yourselves, throw away your trash, and leave things as nice as you found them. These facilities belong to our community, and taking care of them is something we can all contribute to!

And to both communities, thank you for showing up, supporting ALL students, and making rivalry night about more than just the game.
