Thank you to all the incredible members of our community who served our country. Thank you also to all those who made a donation to honor a veteran near and dear to them with a banner. We are proud to announce that the veterans banners are officially up around town.

Previous banners are available for pickup at the Radiant Windows office (101 N. Benton St., Oak Harbor, OH 43449). Any remaining banners after August 1st 2026 will be disposed of.

It was never just about providing a beautiful mural for the community! The project is now complete, following the installation of signage.

We are so fortunate to have world class wildlife areas in our own backyard! These signs show the way to those wonderful locations and honor our generous sponsors. There's also an educational component, scanning the QR code grants access to a plethora of information about the species shown, hosted on the Black Swamp Bird Observatory website.

We are excited to welcome wildlife enthusiasts who visit us from across the country and around the globe to witness the great migration and we look forward to many more years of enjoying this incredible mural.

The Oak Harbor Development Group would like to announce our Annual Downtown Flower Program! Funds raised through this program help provide and maintain the 34 flowerpots that make downtown Oak Harbor more welcoming and beautiful.

Sponsor a downtown flower planter for just $60! Planters may be sponsored in honor or memory of a loved one, or by an individual, family, business, or organization. Each sponsored planter will feature a plaque with a personalized message.

The deadline for sponsorship is April 30th, 2025.

Ribbon Cutting Announcement!
Oak Harbor Development Group is excited to host the Official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Largest Mural in Ottawa County this Saturday (October 11, 2025) at 12PM! If you happen to be visiting the Oak Harbor Apple Festival stop over to the Napa Auto Building on State Route 163 and 19 to celebrate this EXCITING addition to the Official Village Of Oak Harbor, Ohio!
