Just for clarification...this committee is for all extension programming in Ottawa county. Not just for 4-H. (4-H still has their own advisory committee)

Calling anyone who would like to help give input and direction to the Extension programs here in Ottawa county.

We will be having our next OSU Extension Advisory meeting Monday August 31st at 1:00 at OSU Extension office.

This will be a special meeting facilitated by Carrie Sanchez Kramer from North Point Educational Service Center. This will be a way to get back to the core of what our advisory is all about. This is an open meeting, so feel free to bring others from the community who would like to learn more about OSU Extension and/or who would be potential advisory members.

We survived the county fair, but some of our kids aren't done with the fair just yet! The first week of State Fair just wrapped up.

We love seeing updates from those who travel down to the State Fair for project judging or exhibition. Living in a very driven world, we all love to win, but regardless of ribbons and banners, we are proud of all those who make the trip to Columbus to represent Ottawa County! I tell my co-workers all the time that I will take our small but mighty youth over banners and glory any day. Our kids have heart, determination, and a kindness that outshines the negative we are often surrounded by!

Deadline to apply is 9/1/26. Applicants must meet all the criteria for their age to be eligible for the award.
