The Do It For Dylan Project

The Do It For Dylan Project September 12, 2026 - Oak Harbor Ohio He bought a 1990 Nissan 240-SX SE as a project car. He loved working on the Nissan.

The Dylan Everett Cruise and Car Show was created to honor Dylan Everett's memory and help fund scholarships for students in Ottawa County looking to pursue a career in the trades. Dylan Everett was a graduate of Oak Harbor High School in 2018 and earned his General Motors ASEP Certification from Owens Community College. During his time in school, Dylan interned for Baumann Chevy Dealership and wa

s then hired full time as a Certified Technician before working his way up to Service Writer. Dylan was passionate about learning all that he could about all kinds of vehicles. Dylan was always willing to give up his time and expertise to help anyone and everyone. The Everett Family and Friends are hoping that this event will bring the community together to honor and remember our son, brother, and friend, Dylan Everett and bring awareness and education about su***de prevention.

Congratulations to Cory H. for being the 3rd recipient of the Ottawa County Trade School Scholarship!

We are proud to support Cory, an Oak Harbor High School graduate who is furthering his education, gaining hands-on experience through an internship with a construction equipment company, and working toward his goal of becoming a full-time farmer.

This scholarship would not be possible without the support of our community and the work we are doing to raise funds through the Dylan Everett Car Show.

Our scholarship cycle is still open. If you know an Ottawa County student who is continuing their education in the trades, send them this application: https://forms.gle/j7yGyRfM22yKWWsK8
Thank you all for your continued support of your mission to:
• Support Ottawa County students continuing their education in the vocational trades and
• Raise awareness about su***de prevention and break the stigma on mental health. 💙💜
