This past Monday our Den students practiced cooking!

Chicken fajitas, rice ice, and brownie churros.

It was all delicious!

We are open for teens after school Mondays and Wednesdays, 1501 S Harding.

A good full day at The Den today-and we were excited to see so many of our regulars back!

Miss it! That’s ok! See us Monday after school. In the meantime, enjoy this rainbow over the church. We checked but there was no pot of gold on the front lawn. 😉

Hey kids! Your barn quilt is up! Thank you Julie Lipari with Barn Quilts by Jewels!!!

My church (United Methodist Church of Oak Grove) provides an after school program for the middle and high school students during the school year. For the 2nd year in a row the kids have helped me paint a barn quilt. Last year was a wolf because we are The Den. This year is this gnome for the community garden behind the church.

Meet Cornelius Cobblenose!

He will be barn quilt number 1 on our upcoming trail. Watch for more information on that coming in the Fall.
