Attention Current and Prospective Livestock Exhibitors!

If you are currently showing livestock or are interested in exhibiting livestock through 4-H this year, we invite you and your family to attend our upcoming Livestock Project Meeting.

This important meeting will cover information for the upcoming livestock show season, including:
* Validation and possession deadlines
* State Fair schedule and exhibitor information
* 4-H Fruit Sales fundraiser
* Upcoming livestock shows
* Parish Livestock Show details
* Important dates and opportunities for exhibitors

Whether you are a first-time exhibitor or a seasoned livestock project member, this meeting will help ensure you are prepared for a successful year.

The NELA Beef and Forage Field Day being hosted in Mangham on September 17th. Registration begins at 8:15 with coffee and donuts and Lunch will be provided by Goldman Equipment. If you plan to attend, please register no later than September 10th to (318)368-9935 to make sure there is an accurate head count for lunch!

Deadline to order is today for Steers.

Good Morning Livestock Community,

This is the last day to order DNA Kits online for the Market Steers, if haven't order yet, yall have until 5pm today to do so.

9 days until the Possession Deadline for Market Steers, turn into the State Fair of Louisiana Livestock office.

Please use Priority mail in case it gets lost when sending it in.
Please do not wait until the last minute to order the DNA kits.

These days we have snail mail, we don't have Paul Revere delivering anymore.
