Animal Rescue Corps (ARC) assisted the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office in the rescue of 85 adult dogs and puppies and four cats found living in extremely neglectful conditions at a home in Manchester, TN. ARC safely removed the animals from the property and transported them to an emergency shelter set up by ARC for this rescue, dubbed Operation Midnight Run. Each animal will receive a thorough veterinary exam, appropriate vaccinations, and any necessary medical treatment. ARC will provide daily care until the dogs are placed with approved shelter and rescue organizations around the country that will ultimately adopt them into loving homes.

Mission Statement

The mission of this group is unusual and different than other rescues. We provide a service where other rescues leave off. Where most rescues and shelters must euthanize to keep from going broke because to keep adoption fees down to be competitive we focus on fundraising to support our high cost of medical care that would normally be the cause for Euthanisation in other groups. We seek out to protect any animal that is destined to be destroyed because of lack of education of rural shelters or other rescues that cannot afford the necessary health care to cover their medical bills. We strive to fundraise to provide the ability to medically treat, provide a safe haven, and any other necessary treatment during rehabilitation or to just assist in its natural death in a warm safe environment instead of on a wet cement floor of a kennel or under a bush if the animal is beyond help. Whether these animals are domestic, domestic wildlife, or wildlife, injured, abused or orphaned. Our mission is to insure them the ability to be rehabilitated in the proper environment, be it a new home, foster home, released into natural habitat or at least to be there to comfort and assist our animals go through a natural death in the warmth and love of a rescue that will make them as comfortable as possible instead of dying on a concrete floor in a lonely shelter alone.

NOBODY CAN DO EVERYTHING, BUT EVERYBODY CAN DO SOMETHING!

NOBODY CAN DO EVERYTHING, BUT EVERYBODY CAN DO SOMETHING!

Don't expect others to do what YOU have to do!

There are many ways YOU can help to end the suffering of animals, or even "only" of one animal.

There are many different things that each and every one of us can do to make this world a better place.

Open your eyes. Open your heart... and ACT! ♥ ♥ ♥
