🔥 Ever feel like life’s turned up the heat and you’re just trying to survive the day? You’re not alone! This week, we looked at three guys who literally faced a blazing furnace (talk about a bad day at work…) and came out not even smelling like smoke. 😳

If you’re tired of just “kinda standing” and are looking for real freedom, real peace, and joy (no matter what you’re facing) check out our Sunday’s message. God doesn’t just help us survive the fire; He sets us free in it! You can watch it now or listen to it on our podcast at www.1128community.org/ondemand 🔥🙌

Ever feel like you’re in over your head… literally? Mike kicked off our “In God We Trust” series by sharing his hilarious (and slightly traumatic) experience this summer with a water obstacle course, reminding us how easy it is to feel like we’re drowning in life’s challenges. But just like he needed someone calm and steady to guide him out, we all need a voice reminding us that God is with us, even when we can’t see the way forward.

Give the message a watch or listen online at www.1128community.org/ondemand or search the Do Life Different podcast on all major platforms.

There are some things that we dread multiplying...
Like mosquitos or weeds in our yard.

Some things we want to multiply.
It's good when they multiply.
Like the yeast in our sourdough starter or money in our bank account.

In the time that the book of Act was written, the church was multiplying.
It was growing exponentially!
And this wasn't happening by accident.

Paul and the disciples were BUSY!

God was moving through the followers. And the followers were not just sitting still.

The question for us--what are we doing to help spread and multiply the word of God?

Today, let's take a moment to pray--God, help me see those around me in the way that you see them. God, give me the wisdom to know how I might show who you are or talk about you with others. And God, please give me the boldness to move and speak and help your word multiply.

Are your words adding life? Or are they taking life? We have the opportunity to ADD life to situations DAILY. So, why aren’t we?

This weekend, we talked about how to Love Like Jesus. If you’d like to join us on that journey, we have a 5 day devotional that will help you reflect.

Ever wish sharing Jesus was as easy as handing out a breath mint? On Sunday, Mike shared how the gospel isn’t something we’re meant to keep to ourselves… it’s for EVERY[ONE]! From Ephesians 4 & 5, we learned that loving like Jesus means speaking truth, dealing with anger differently, using our words to build others up (even that “one” who drives you crazy) and forgiving because we’ve been forgiven.
