Hello everyone! Today we celebrated Veterans Day at the Oak Creek Fire Department. Thank you for all to those who came. Special thanks to VFW post 8482 Commander Derrick Paquette, American Legion Post 434 Commander Lyle Riffel, Congressman Bryan Steil, State Senator Chris Larson, State Representative Jesse Rodriguez, Oak Creek Mayor Dan Bukiewicz, Oak Creek VFW Post 8482, American Legion Post 434, Oak Creek Police Department, Michael Nelson, Crafting for Veterans, the Oak Creek High School Choir, and local Scouts. It was a fantastic ceremony!

Good afternoon and Happy Memorial Day on this beautiful (and a little windy) day! As we spend time with our families, let us remember why we celebrate. We honor those men and women who sacrificed their lives. They did this in the name of our country and the beliefs that our great country was founded on. God bless these men and women, our veterans, and others who still serve today. Happy Memorial Day!
