Join us for a special experience celebrating the powerful bond between people and animals. Through Animal Assisted Activities and Animal Assisted Therapy, participants will have the opportunity to experience connection, comfort, and healing in a welcoming and inclusive environment. 🤍

This experience is open to children and adults of all ages and abilities.

Join MUHSEN Canada for Community, Care & Connection, a meaningful event designed for individuals with disabilities to develop valuable life skills while giving back to Calgary’s vulnerable community.

Participants will help pack food kits, clean, and organize while supporting those in need. Lunch is generously sponsored by Jerusalem Shawarma.

Our families had a wonderful afternoon exploring In-Sync Exotics Wildlife Rescue & Educational Center, learning about rescued wildlife, and enjoying an inclusive adventure together.

Serving our community with kindness, compassion, and connection. 🤍

MUHSEN was grateful to join the Calgary Pop-Up Care Village for a meaningful day of service at Central Memorial Park.

Together, our volunteers and MUHSEN families helped distribute free burgers to vulnerable members of our Calgary community while sharing smiles, conversations, and a spirit of care. 💙

Meet Mustafa, a fun-loving 12-year-old artist with a beautiful way of seeing the world. 🎨💙

Two years ago, Mustafa’s mother, Misbah, was navigating one of life’s hardest chapters — grieving the loss of her husband to COVID while raising her son with autism on her own. In the midst of that grief, she found something she wasn’t expecting: family. She found MUHSEN.

Since joining our community, Mustafa hasn’t just attended our retreats and events — he’s become part of the fabric of who we are. Through his art, he shares pieces of his heart with all of us, and through her strength, Misbah has shown what it means to keep showing up with faith and love, even when life is hard.

This is what MUHSEN is about, not just inclusion, but belonging. Not just support, but sukoon (peace) for families who need to know they are not alone.

Mustafa, we’re so proud of you and the artist you’re becoming. Misbah, thank you for trusting us with your family’s story.
