Martha's Vineyard Touchdown Club This page is managed by The Martha's Vineyard Touchdown Club, the booster organization of the MVRHS football and cheerleading program. High School Cheerleading.

It is designed to promote the teams, players, and coaches of the Martha's Vineyard Regional High School program. The Martha's Vineyard Touchdown Club is a 501(c) nonprofit organization comprised of family and friends of Martha's Vineyard Regional High School Football, Martha's Vineyard Junior High School Football, and Martha's Vineyard Regional High School and Jr. We meet on a year round basis and

anyone is welcome to attend a meeting. Meetings are held the second Wednesday of the month in the off-season and every Wednesday before a home game during the season in the High School Health Room. We welcome all interested persons to join the TD Club -- you don't have to have a child in the program, you don't even have to live here! You only have to join in as many meetings as you can and help with ideas, events, organization, and decisions. Funds to support the Teams are raised through fundraisers and donations. 100% of all the funds we raise go directly into the program. Our motto is: IT'S ALL FOR THE KIDS!

It was a truly special evening for Vineyard Football. From welcoming Jr High players to saying good bye to our beloved Seniors. Thank you to all the Coaches, Players, Parents, Volunteers and Community for making this season special.

🌟 Staff Highlight: Donald Herman 🌟

Meet Donald Herman, aka “coach”, one of our incredible Trainers and Group Exercise Instructors, who has been part of the Y family since Fall 2016! 💪💙

✨ Favorite part about working at the Y?
“I enjoy working with those who want to improve their fitness and well-being.” 💫

Originally from Savannah, Georgia, Donald taught and coached there for seven years before moving to the island in 1988. He went on to serve as a PE teacher at MVRHS for 28 years and the Head Football Coach for 32 years! 🏈

When he’s not training or teaching, Donald also works at South Beach—where he’s spent an incredible 35 years and counting! ☀️

He’s married to Pam and proud dad to Eric, Adam, and Gail. Outside of work, he’s a big sports fanatic, especially when it comes to football and baseball. His favorite teams? The Georgia Bulldogs, New England Patriots, and Boston Red Sox! 🏈⚾

💡 Fun fact: Donald self-published a book on Amazon titled “Purple Pride”, which chronicles his 28 years of coaching football at MVRHS before retiring in 2016. And here’s something truly unique — he was born with total Situs Inversus, meaning all of his internal organs are reversed! Luckily, it’s never impacted his health or well-being. 🙌

We’re so grateful for Donald’s dedication, energy, and passion — both inside and outside the gym. He continues to inspire our Y community every day! 💙
