📸✨ Join us for an inspiring evening with the incredibly talented Julia Cumes, the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod’s 2024 “Artist of the Year”! Julia will be sharing insights into her transformative project, Transformation: A Collaborative Portrait Series Exploring Gender Identity on Cape Cod. This powerful series dives deep into the diverse stories of gender identity, giving voice to personal journeys through Julia’s lens.

Over the course of her career, Julia has photographed for a wide range of magazines, newspapers, humanitarian and wildlife rescue organizations. Come to hear more about her creative process and the amazing people behind each portrait, and how this project brings to light the beauty and resilience within our community and beyond.

After the talk the pieces will be on exhibit at the Vineyard Haven Library and MV Community Services.
