Holt County Animal Shelter We're a small dog shelter in North Central Nebraska. The Holt County Animal Shelter is a private, non-profit organization. We serve Holt County Nebraska.

If you are missing your dog, contact the O'Neill Police Dept. We do house the dogs they impound. Through the generosity of our community, we have a well outfitted building. We strive to provide the best care for the dogs who end up in our facility. Staff:

Once in a while we get lucky and are able to reunite a dog with their owner, this is one of those times.
This dog had been missing since Mother's Day, and the owner had given up hope of finding her. Tonight she is at home, safe and sound. 🐾❤️

We are helping an owner rehome her 7 year old Australian Shepherd.
He is fixed and up to date on vaccines. He has always been a house dog, not a working dog or farm dog. He gets along with kids and cats, but hasn't had much exposure to other dogs.

We have 6 amazing dogs in need of a family.
4 of them have never known what it's like to live in a home, or be someone's cherished pet.
Rosa, Buster, Shadow and Chewie are 6 months old, and desperately need to find their forever people.
They are scheduled for their Spay/Neuter soon, they have all their vaccines and are microchipped.
They are fun, smart and have great personalities!
