Irish Capital Feline Foundation

Irish Capital Feline Foundation We are volunteer‑run 501c3 foundation dedicated to improving the lives of community cats through humane TNR. We can use all the help we can get!

Our primary mission is TNR, but we also foster kittens & adoptable cats who enter our traps and cannot safely return to their outdoor environment. We are a small group of citizens working to raise money to tackle the stray and feral cat population in O'neill, Ne. If you would like to become involved, please send us a message! We are a registered Nonprofit.

Hi! I’m Rosey! Do you want to sponsor me and my friends?! Don’t worry, we don’t have to go home with you (unless of course you want us and why wouldn’t you? We’re all the most adorable babies ever!)

We have 8 kittens that have been bottle babies since they came into ICFF. We also have 6 more kittens but their mama has been able to keep their bellies full.

We are looking for sponsors for the bottle babies currently which will help with their vet care when they’re big enough!

We assess each situation to determine sponsorship and have decided each kitten would be a $50 sponsorship or you can sponsor 2 for $90, 3 for $120.

Thank you all so much for your continued support. Rescue takes a village and the kittens are blessed to have the villages around them.

A huge thank you go to our fosters for all the care they have given these babies as they grow. You are more than appreciated.

If you are interested in being a foster, the only thing it costs you is some extra love.

Please reach out if you’d like to foster a kitten or two, or if you like to be a foster in the future!

Even more cuteness overload!

Remember the bottle babies that started as 6? Well, here 3 of the 6 and their adopted littermate who came in a few weeks ago after being found all alone the one less limb.

Meet The Weasley’s!

You’ve seen pictures of the cute little paws. These tiny tykes have upgraded to a playpen, have been consistently using a litterbox and are starting to wrinkle off the bottle.

Pink collar is Ron
Orange is Fred (Fred survives this battle)
Green is George

And little miss has been named Rosey by her foster. She gets around quickly for being down one arm. We aren’t sure what happened but she was checked out by Dr. Kwho confirmed an open wound. Don’t worry, it got glued up and it hadn’t set her back one bit.

These kiddos will also be available in 3-4 weeks!

Meet our newest tiny troublemakers!

Duchess, Berlios, Toulouse, and Marie
Can you guess where the names came from? 😁

These four bottle babies are approximately 4–5 weeks old and officially entering their “tiny dinosaur” era. We have 2 boys and 2 girls, all growing like crazy and learning important life skills like wrestling their siblings.

They should be ready for their forever homes in about 3–4 weeks, and we are now accepting adoption applications.

If you’re interested in giving one of these babies (or 2 😉😉😉)a loving home, please reach out to us for an application. As always, adopters should be prepared for the responsibility and commitment that comes with raising kittens into happy, spoiled house cats.

🍼🐾 ICFF Kitten Baby Shower 🐾🍼

Kitten season has hit hard and our nursery is overflowing. We are currently caring for 17 fosters, including 8 bottle babies, a special needs baby, a mama with 6 kittens, a permanent foster, and another still waiting for their forever home. At this time, we are overwhelmed and unable to take in additional fosters unless more foster homes step up.

So we’re hosting a little baby shower for the tiniest members of ICFF. 💛

Needed supplies include:

• KMR + Goat’s Milk KMR
• Bottles + Miracle Ni***es
• Syringe feeders
• Puppy pads
• Pet wipes
• Towels + blankets
• Small dishes
• Shallow foil pans for litter training
• Unscented litter
• Heating pads
• Dawn dish soap
• Laundry detergent
• Disinfectant cleaners
• Kitten food for weaning babies
• Paper towels + trash bags

Bottle babies require around-the-clock care, and every donation helps keep these tiny babies fed, warm, clean, and growing strong.

Shop local at Bomgaars, Dollar General West (O’Neill) or check the comments for link to our Amazon Kitten Shower wishlist. 🐱🍼✨

Here is your Sunday dose of cutness!!!! Orange one is spoken for!!!!
I think we are going to name them after 101 Dalmations/Cruella as the human mama has named 1 little girl with a gray streak on top of her head "Cruella". 🥰

We wanted to give everyone a quick update from the ICFF chaos corner 🐾

At this time, we are unfortunately unable to take in any additional cats or kittens. Right now we have 17 foster cats in care, including 9 bottle babies requiring around-the-clock feeding and care, much like newborn infants. Between feedings, medications, cleaning, socialization, and medical needs, our fosters are stretched very thin.

This month alone, before summer has even officially started, we have taken in:
• 3 litters of kittens (all bottle babies)
• 1 lone special-needs kitten (also a bottle baby)

We know it is heartbreaking to find kittens outside and want to help immediately, but in many cases the BEST thing you can do first is leave them where they are and monitor from a distance.

A few important kitten season reminders:🐱 If kittens are found tucked away in a safe/inconspicuous area, leave them and check back every 4 hours. Mama cats often leave during the day to hunt for food and WILL return to care for them.

🐱 Please do not immediately touch or move the kittens unless they are in immediate danger (traffic, flooding, severe weather, etc.). Human scent and disruption can sometimes cause mama to relocate or reject the litter, dramatically lowering survival rates.

🐱 Removing kittens too early can also cause mama cats to mourn and search endlessly for their babies.

🐱 If mama has not returned after monitoring, or the kittens appear injured, cold, lethargic, or covered in fleas, THEN intervention is needed.

Most importantly: SPAY & NEUTER.Kitten season is already exploding, and it is not even summer yet. Spaying and neutering saves lives, reduces suffering, decreases disease spread, and helps stop this overwhelming cycle before more kittens are born into unsafe conditions.

We are still absolutely here to provide education, guidance, and support for anyone who finds kittens and needs help determining what to do next.

Updates on the current babies will be coming shortly 🍼

As always, thank you all for the continued support, donations, shares, encouragement, and love you show these animals and our foster team. We truly could not do this without the community behind us.

If you have ever considered fostering, now is the time. Even helping with one or two kittens makes an enormous difference. Please reach out if you are interested in becoming a foster ❤️

This is an explanation to why we Ear-tip when we TNR.

🐾 Ear-tip Awareness 🐾

Every ear tip represents a cat that can no longer contribute to the endless cycle of homeless animals. THAT is impact worth celebrating.

🐾 WHY “EAR TIPS”? 🐾

That little straight-cut tip on a cat’s LEFT ear is actually a life-saving symbol! An ear tip means a Community cat has already been trapped, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated through a TNR program (Trap • Neuter • Return). ****Ear-tipping should also be considered for owned cats that are allowed to go outdoors too!! ***Don’t skip the tip!!***

Ear tipping is the universal sign recognized by animal welfare organizations, shelters, rescues, and caretakers everywhere. It helps prevent cats from being trapped repeatedly for surgery they’ve already had — reducing stress on the animal and saving valuable time, supplies, funding, and veterinary resources.

✨ WHY IT MATTERS:
• Prevents unnecessary surgery & anesthesia
• Helps rescuers quickly identify fixed cats
• Saves limited rescue funding & vet appointments
• Reduces overpopulation in our Community
• Allows efforts to focus on cats still needing help
• Protects outdoor cats from being repeatedly trapped
• It’s selfless consideration for everyone working tirelessly to help cats

Without ear tipping, there’s no quick visual way to know if an outdoor cat has already been sterilized. That tiny ear tip represents prevention, compassion, and progress in the fight against pet overpopulation. 🖤
