Thank you for the shout out! We love being part of Community Council of St. Charles. They have been a wonderful partner in helping The Sharing Shed build connections throughout the community so we can better reach and serve families in need.
We truly feel blessed by the relationships and partnerships that have grown through this organization and are grateful to work alongside others who care so deeply about our community.

A proud member of Community Council since 2018, The Sharing Shed has been restoring hope, dignity, and stability to families in crisis for more than 20 years.
What began in founder Vicki Unser's garage in 2001 has grown into a community-wide ministry that has helped more than 2,500 families rebuild their lives. Through partnerships with local churches, schools, agencies, and organizations, The Sharing Shed provides furniture and household essentials to individuals and families recovering from homelessness, domestic violence, natural disasters, financial hardship, and other life challenges.
Their mission is to bring the community together to meet the needs of those in crisis, while planting seeds of love and hope throughout St. Charles, Lincoln, and Warren Counties.
From a bed to sleep on to a table where families can gather again, The Sharing Shed helps transform houses into homes and offers a fresh start for those who need it most.
