Join us August 24-27, 2026, for Light in the Shadows as we honor the Fallen 13 heroes lost at Abbey Gate and remember the enduring legacy of hometown hero Lance Corporal Jared Schmitz.

This four-day memorial experience welcomes veterans, Gold Star families, and community members to gather in remembrance, reflection, and gratitude.

The Annual All FORD Car Show is happening at the Mid America Veterans Museum and we are ready for an amazing day filled with beautiful vehicles, great people, and community fun.

Yesterday, we had the honor of hosting a truly special event that demonstrated the power of a community coming together to recognize service, sacrifice, and generosity.

Fallen Hero's Dream Ride presented patriot Ella Mateja, founder of Ella's Fearless Heroes Lemonade Stand, with a scholarship in recognition of her extraordinary efforts raising more than $140,000 for local nonprofit organizations that support veterans and their families.

We were humbled to be asked to host this celebration and especially grateful because the Mid America Veterans Museum has been one of the organizations impacted by Ella's dedication and hard work.

Ella's commitment to serving others is a shining example of patriotism in action. As she begins her next chapter in college, we know she will continue making a difference wherever she goes.

What a great day at the Spirit of St. Louis Airshow!
