Hello friends. It's been a long time ... too long ... since we've posted updates from Haiti. But the orphanage, school, and church are still serving their community. As you may already know, the recent months have been challenging to say the least for our friends in Tabarre. Gang activity continues to make it risky to go out into the city, and it is difficult to get necessities like food and gasoline.
But even in difficult times, always look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.
It is no surprise that our good-hearted friends are modeling helpful behavior. These pictures show men from the church in Tabarre building a small home. It will house a family of 7 who were kicked out of their previous home by a gang. The project is being called "Restore Tabarre" by Pastor ... but it does have a cost.
