Several Auxiliary members attended the Department of Missouri convention this weekend. We brought a few things home with us. Our awesome sewing sisters also shown out.

Our Americanism Chairman Carey along with our Patriotic Instructor Dale spearheaded getting our flags set up for Flag Day. They were assisted by President Sharon and Sr. Vice-President Cynthia.

VFW Post 5077 and Auxiliary 5077 received their All-State awards at the VFW Department Convention tonight.

VFW Post 5077 and Auxiliary members attended a ceremony tonight that honored Ella Mateja with the LCPL Phillip Vinnedge Young Patriot Award. Ella operates a lemonade stand and donates the proceeds to various veteran's organizations. Post 5077 has received those donations several times. Congratulations Ella on your award!

Auxiliary members decorated the hall on Tuesday night. We also presented each part and present Military personnel at bingo with a brisket sandwich meal, an M&M treat, lapel pin and rubber bracelet as THANK YOU for their service and our freedom. Auxiliary President (Sharon Brooks) read a thank you poem to all in attendance.

On Memorial Day, we shared photos from the Memorial Day programs, projects, events and ceremonies posted or sent in by VFW Auxiliary members, which we will also be compiling in an album for future perusal. We have received many more submissions over the weekend and are sharing them throughout the day today, Tuesday, too. Thank you to all who have participated for all that you do!

VFW Post 5077 was the lead for the City of O'Fallon Memorial Day Ceremony and their Auxiliary always participates in the color guard (Guard Denise Thibodeau) and wreath-laying (Commander Paul Petterson and President Sharon Brooks). Auxiliary members also decorated the Post and placed Flags around the Blue Star Memorial Highway Sign for the Memorial Day weekend.
