The 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom reminded us what’s possible when people come together and make their voices heard.

That same spirit is still with us today. We’re still organizing. Still speaking up. Still pushing for the freedom, justice, and equality every person deserves.

The work didn’t stop in '63. And neither will we.

We didn't come this far to only come this far. Our light is real. Our power is undeniable.

We've seen what's at stake, and we know the assignment. Our commitment to justice, equity, and a democracy that actually works for all of us has never been stronger.

Today, a federal judge blocked unlawful USPS procedures that would have kept mail-in ballots from reaching voters.

NAACP, alongside Public Citizen and The Legal Defense Fund, fought back and won. This ruling is a victory for every voter who relies on mail-in voting to make their voice heard, especially Black voters who already face systemic barriers at the ballot box.

We won't stop here. We will continue to litigate, advocate, and agitate until every vote is counted. https://naacp.org/articles/naacp-halts-usps-plan-interfere-mail-voting

We condemn the Supreme Court's ruling banning transgender youth from sports teams. There is nothing American about banning kids from sports simply for being themselves. Our schools must be safe, accessible spaces for every child.

Sports are not a privilege. They are community. They are belonging. They are a daily signal to a young person that they have a place in this world.

We're calling on Congress to pass the Equality Act and establish full civil rights protections for LGBTQIA+ Americans. The dignity of every child is non-negotiable. https://naacp.org/articles/naacp-stands-transgender-athletes-following-supreme-court-ruling
