has always been both a declaration and a demand.

A declaration that LGBTQIA+ lives are worthy of joy, dignity, and respect. A demand that the systems around us rise to meet that truth.

This month, we celebrate the resilience of a community that has never stopped pushing for a more just world, and we recommit to that push alongside you.

Equity isn't a destination for some. It's a future we must build together, for everyone.

105 years later, we still remember what was taken from Black Wall Street.

The Tulsa Race Massacre wasn’t just an attack on a neighborhood. It was an attack on Black success, Black wealth, and a thriving community that built for itself despite every barrier placed in its way.

Today, we honor the lives lost, the stories too often left out of textbooks, and the legacy of Greenwood that still lives on. Never forgotten.

Memorial Day is a chance for us to pause as a community and recognize the extraordinary individuals whose bravery and commitment shaped the freedoms and rights we treasure today.

Honoring them is about choosing, every day, to stand up for the same values they believed were worth the ultimate sacrifice: fairness, justice, and dignity for all.

On this day (May 17) in 1954, lawyer Thurgood Marshall scored a landmark victory as the U.S. Supreme Court unanimously ruled in Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka that racial segregation in public schools was unconstitutional.

This ruling is a reminder of what generations before us fought so hard to protect. But we cannot afford to believe that any right or victory is guaranteed forever. Under this current administration, even rulings like this could one day be placed in jeopardy. That is why we must stay vigilant, stay informed, and stay united. Our collective voice, our organizing, and our solidarity are what protect progress and push us forward.

Make no mistake about SB 1002 and do not let the story become “it passed.”

“It failed, leadership forced reconsideration, and political pressure changed votes.”

With only a few hours to go in this year’s legislative session, some politicians in Jefferson City are still trying their hardest to dismantle public education.

Today on the house floor there is a last ditch effort to make St Charles County school board elections partisan and more costly. Can you send a quick message telling your state rep to keep school board elections local and non-partisan.

To the moms, dog moms, aunties, grandmas, bonus moms, godmothers, and the women who stepped up when they didn’t have to ❤️

Thank you for the love, the life lessons, the “did you eat yet?” texts, the sacrifices nobody saw, and the strength that somehow carried everybody through.

Today is for the women who make a way out of no way every single time. Happy Mother’s Day to the ones holding it all together with grace, humor, prayer, and a little side-eye too 😭💐
