Our lights will be on until after the epiphany on Jan 6. Our box is still out there for collections. Maybe your child got duplicate gifts for Christmas or just too much? We all know there is LOTS of clearance at the stores after Christmas too! Sweet Celebrations collects toys all year for children's birthdays that are in foster care too. So if you feel it in your heart to contribute there are so many local children that would be forever grateful ❤️ God Bless!

Let's work together and make Christmas happen for these children who are facing some very difficult times. I know we are all struggling but even a dollar matters. There are lots of ways to get involved as noted in this post and don't forget we have our toy collection box out front. Feel free to stop by and drop a toy off if you feel led. This evening, we received over 40 more lists of children who moved into local shelters TODAY! I'm reaching out to you with a heartfelt request for support as we strive to bring the spirit of Christmas to these children. Each contribution, no matter how small, brings us closer to ensuring each child will experience the joy and warmth of the holiday season.

We have three convenient ways for you to make a difference:
1. Venmo/Paypal Donations: You can contribute directly to our Venmo or Paypal account . No donation is too small, and every dollar will go towards purchasing gifts for these deserving children.
2. Sponsor a child: Alternatively, you can choose to shop for a specific child, but we will need the gifts delivered to us no later than 12/23 at 12PM. This is a long shot, we know but some children have more specific wishes.
3. Share this Message: We understand that this time of year can be financially challenging for many, so even sharing this message with your friends and family can make a significant impact.

If you have physical gifts to donate, we would be delighted to receive them. Please message us to arrange a drop-off.

It never fails. We always seem to have trouble with some of the lights when it rains. We have tried everything through the years. We are hoping to spread some joy this holiday season! We would like to invite you to come enjoy our Christmas light show. we don't have the fancy laser light show, they are the good old fashion lights BUT they dance to music. we have multiple lighted holiday scenes and my granddaughter gave it the thumbs up! You can sit in your car and tune in to 97.9 fm and take it all in or take a stroll along the sidewalk and take in all the wonder as the music plays aloud in the yard too! We have also partnered up with a charity called Sweet Celebrations which is a local volunteer led nonprofit. They provide personalized birthday parties and holidays to children and teens experiencing homelessness.

Many children will be spending the upcoming holidays inside a homeless shelter, motel or even a car. We estimate nearly 1,200 children will be without a home in St Louis City and County and St Charles and Jefferson Counties during the Christmas season. The young ones write their lists for Santa, hopeful he will find them amidst the chaos. In this time of despair, the anticipation of Christmas morning offers a glimmer of hope and excitement for these kids. But there is no money for presents or even a Christmas stocking.

This is where Sweet Celebrations steps in. They are a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded in 2013 whose mission is to enrich the lives of children and teens experiencing homelessness by providing personalized birthday celebrations and holiday gifts.

Once we collect all the gifts, our team of dedicated elves sort and wrap them. They also create and fill a Christmas stocking for each and every child. Then our wonderful "Santas" tirelessly travel to all the shelters on Christmas Eve and lay the gifts under the tree while the kids are asleep. It definitely takes a village to create this Christmas magic!

This is a great way for us to come together as a community during these difficult times to bring these children the magic of Christmas. Please help us make their spirits a little brighter this year!
We will have a collection box outside our house where you can donate an unwrapped toy. We will start our display the day after Thanksgiving. Hey Friends! We are collecting toys again for sweet celebrations at our home. We have a light display that I hope you all will enjoy and even a little area for kids to take pics with an inflatable Santa. If you can please place a new, unwrapped toy in the red box out front and if you can't just come enjoy some Christmas spirit. May God bless you all through this Christmas season.

Our light display has officially ended for the year and I want to thank everyone who donated. We are overwhelmed with the generosity. We also want to thank everyone who came by to enjoy our little piece of Christmas magic. We will do this yearly for Christmas and are brainstorming some other ideas to continue to help support sweet Celebrations as they do provide birthday parties for the children in shelters and without homes year round.
